Position: Engineering and Maintenance Manager – CS – Camaçari/BA

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

• Responsible for deliver high-performance on investment management (CAPEX) focusing on compliance, direct maintenance, growth and profit improvements.
• Develop and implement a mid/long-term strategy for maintenance, warehouse, facilities and engineering focusing on cost management and service level.
• Define and manage long range plan (LRP) and budget for facilities, maintenance and CAPEX;
• Define 3-5 years strategy for maintenance, engineering and facilities.
• Develop 2 supervisors + 1 Technical Specialist to enhance succession plan;
• Responsible to 120 contractors (maintenance execution, security, cafeteria, cleaning, etc);
• Coach and engage 22 FTE (managed position). Identify key talent, develop and retain;
• Look for innovation and new ideas/initiatives to reduce cost and increase service level keeping plant availability;
• Keep 100% compliance with global and local regulation (critical areas: mechanical integrity, electrical, security, food);
• Provide Coach to matrix supervisors to increase plant leadership maturity and engagement;
• Manage CAPEX cash flow keeping real time communication with global engineering;
• Responsible to Asset Care management at Camaçari Plant
• Define and manage warehouse strategy to enhance plant availability, cost management.
• Keep connected with Global and Regional maintenance, facilities and engineering communities in order to assure alignment inside the organization
• Influence maintenance, facilities and engineering standards, regulations and share best practices in Camaçari Industrial park network.
• Support new optimization projects in Camaçari site enhancing site competitiveness.
• Enable initiatives and programs deployment within Technical Site Department related to Digital Manufacturing with DT Site Lead, Cybersecurity (MITS) with IT Security Manager (ISM) and Functional Safety with FS Lifecycle Specialist in the plant

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?

• B.A. or M.S. with previous strong experience in engineering.
• Experience to develop business strategies for mid and long-term.
• Operations experience including developing budgets and tracking spending
• Excellent communication – oral, written, and team work skills within a diverse organization
• A track record of successful project and technical group management preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining the overall business vision and objectives
• Strong experience in process management, process improvement strategies and project management.
• Knowledge in SAP, Office 365, BI, Analytics, Modeling Tools, PIMS (Aspen, Infoplus, Trendminer, etc) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (Intelex, MES, LIMS, Shiftconnector, i.o. Performance).
• Fluent in English (mandatory)
• Fluent Portuguese or Spanish;
• Location: Camaçari/BA (Brazil)
